What the contact form processes

The form processes your name, email address, chosen service and message to answer your enquiry and discuss a possible project. It also uses a temporary security session and submission timestamp. Hashed IP identifiers and attempt timestamps help limit abusive submissions. Please do not include passwords, financial details or other sensitive information.

Purpose and legal basis

Project enquiries are handled to take steps at your request before a possible contract, or under a legitimate interest in responding to professional correspondence where appropriate. Security processing protects the website against abuse. The required checkbox acknowledges that you have read this notice; it does not subscribe you to marketing or make consent the legal basis for every activity.

Cookies and audience measurement

Essential security cookies protect the contact form and administrator access. Your analytics preference is saved locally for up to six months. Optional Matomo analytics are off until you select Accept analytics, and remain off when you reject them. Change or withdraw your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Existing preferences from the earlier banner do not count as analytics consent.

When enabled and accepted, Matomo measures page views, campaign labels, referring website origins, device/browser information, approximate location, time spent, scroll depth, service/article clicks, email/phone clicks and successfully sent enquiries. This integration uses cookieless measurement after consent. Your consent choice is stored locally for up to six months; essential security cookies remain separate. It does not receive your name, email address, phone number or enquiry text from the form. Arbitrary URL parameters, fragments, advertising click IDs and full referring-page paths are excluded. Campaign links must use non-personal campaign labels.

Optional measurement relies on your consent. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. Withdrawing consent stops subsequent measurement and removes this site’s Matomo tracking cookies; previously collected records are handled through the applicable retention and privacy-request process. Analytics requests are sent to analytics.maltaup.com, operated for the site owner. That hosting service receives the network address needed to process requests; Matomo masks two bytes of the IP address and uses the masked address for location estimates. Raw analytics data is scheduled for deletion after 180 days. Web-server access logs and backups have separate operator-managed retention rules. Session recordings, keystroke capture, user IDs and cross-domain visitor linking are not enabled by this integration.

Recipients, hosting and transfers

Enquiries are sent to Benoit Rivaux through the configured mail provider. The website host and mail provider may process data to deliver and secure their services. External portfolio and source links take you to independently operated websites; no embedded third-party content is loaded here. Hosting region, processor contracts and any transfer safeguards must reflect the actual production providers.

Retention

The intended retention period for unsuccessful project enquiries is up to twelve months after the last meaningful exchange, unless there is a legitimate need to keep them longer. Contract and accounting records follow applicable obligations. Contact rate-limit records are cleared after 24 hours by the supplied maintenance command; administrator login-attempt records are retained for up to fourteen days. The production operator must configure that command and the mailbox retention policy.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If an activity relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made by this website.
